“O Spirits of the Ancient Ones, Great Gods of Old. Spirits of the Ever-Expanding and Ever-Growing Universe, we give you thanks for this Dark Moon of Newness. We ask that you would be present here in this Rite of Magickal Circle and Star Consecration at this time of the Dark Moon. May our ‘True Wills’ and Powers be made manifest in accordance with our Higher-Selves for we know that “Every Man and Every Woman Is a Star.”

*Priestess states:

“O Spirits of the Ancient Ones, Great Gods of Old. Spirit of Ereshkigal Dark Queen of the Underworld. On this Dark Moon night we Consecrate Ourselves and this Magickal Circle and Star within whose midst we stand. The Outer Circle representing the Earth, Our Physical Bodies, the Inner Circle representing Our Spirit, which is an integral Flame in the Cosmic Ocean of Fire. The Star of Babalon in the Center of the Inner Circle represents our ‘True Wills’ as Magickians and Prieste/esses. May we always work toward the Liberty that Unites All these aspects with our Higher Selves.

*Priest performs Calling of the Quarters with Dagger, Invoking Earth Element:

+East: We Consecrate this Magickal Circle to the Eastern Quarter and to the “Way of Anu” the Creator of Heaven. Let Thy presence are witness.

+South: We Consecrate this Magickal Circle to the Southern Quarter and to the Solar God Shemesh. Let Thy presence bare witness.

+West: We Consecrate this Magickal Circle to the Western Quarter and to the Goddess Ereshkigal, Goddess of the Underworld. Let Thy Presence bare witness.

+North: We Consecrate this Magickal Circle to the Northern Quarter and to the Goddess Ki, ‘The Earth, Wife of Anu’, Let Thy presence bare witness.

*Consecration of the Circle with Fire: Priest carries Black Candle signifying Fire and proceeds Counter clockwise to each Quarter signifying the Element of Fire.

*Consecration of the Circle with Incense: Priest carries Incense Censer signifying Air and proceeds Counter clockwise to each Quarter signifying the Element of Fire.

*Priest States “The Power Within Us, The Power Extended.”

*Consecration of the Circle with Water: Priestess carries Laver of Water signifying Water and proceeds Counterclockwise to each Quarter Sprinkling the Water signifying the Element of Water.

*Consecration of the Circle with Earth: Priestess carries Bowl of Salt signifying Earth and proceeds Counterclockwise to each Quarter Sprinkling the Salt signifying the Element of Earth.

*Priestess States: “The Power Within Us, The Power Extended.”

*Priest States:

“As the complexities of the Universe in its Expansion, and the complexities of our Lives with Time and Growing, so let our Magickal Workings be Strengthened and Broadened in their Circumnavigation of our Daily Affairs. O Spirit of the Universe that is Within both of us, we are Within the Universe, Let our Magick Expand in Majesty, Power, Might, and Purpose. May our Intent be of our Higher “True Wills” and may we persevere upon the Path able to Overcome any and all obstacles which we may find hindering us in our Unity and Lives.

+North: We Close the Northern quarter, dedicated to the Goddess KI, “The Earth, Wife of Anu”, Stay if you will, go if you must. We thank you for attending this Rite.

+West: We close this Western Quarter, dedicated to the Goddess Ereshkigal, Goddess of the Underworld. Stay if you will, go if you must. We thank You for attending this Rite.

+South: We close this Southern Quarter, dedicated to The Solar God Shemesh. Stay if you will, go if you must. We thank You for attending this Rite.
